In short

Lanelight does not collect any data about you. Everything you make in the app stays on your phone. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

What stays on your phone

Your plans, your name and company (used only for the "Prepared by" line on your PDFs), crew names, photos you take for a plan, and the settings you choose are stored only on your phone. We never receive them.

Location

Lanelight uses your phone's location only when you tap Locate me, to centre a plan on the map. It is used once, on your phone, and is never sent to us or stored off your phone.

Camera

Lanelight uses the camera only when you tap Take photo to add a site photo to a plan. Photos stay on your phone.

Sharing

When you choose to share a PDF, a map file or a backup, your phone's share sheet sends it where you pick. Lanelight does not send anything anywhere on its own.

Internet

Lanelight works with no signal. The app does not send your information to any server.

Children

Lanelight is a work tool for adults in traffic control. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If a future version adds a feature that sends any information off your phone, this page will say exactly what, to whom and when, before that version is released.
